Karl Frey - Artist Talk & Reception

The original paintings, drawings, and prints in this exhibition feature Karl Frey’s creative process as he skillfully navigates visual absurdity and the chaos of the creative journey.
Karl Frey is a Professor of Art & Art History at Northeast Lakeview College in the Department of Humanities, Communication, and Creative Arts. He works sporadically as an illustrator and local musician while publishing his own prints, comics, poetry, and children’s books. Karl has collaborated with educators, clients, designers, and filmmakers throughout America, the United Kingdom, France, and Australia. He holds his BFA in Illustration from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA and his MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
The Reno Gallery is located in the Lampasas Performing Arts Center.
