Summer Bridge at Northeast Lakeview College
Your pathway to getting college coursework ready!
The Summer Bridge initiative is an 8-week program targeted at high school seniors who qualify for pre-college level math. The goal is to get participating students ready to enroll in college-level credit courses for the Fall 2019 semester. Students completing the program will gain math skills to successfully transition to college.
Program Overview
- June 24, 2019, to August 15, 2019
- MTWR for 8 weeks
- 9 am – 3 pm
- Lunch is provided
A sample student schedule would be:
- 9 am - Math 1314+0114 (to include tutoring)
- Lunch
- 1 pm – 3 pm (EDUC 1300 or Student Development Course – SDEV 0370)*
*Students will be placed in one of these courses based on their TSI reading score
Application and Enrollment Steps:
- Complete the Apply Texas
- Complete the TSI
- Complete the FAFSA
- Attend a New Student Orientation
- May be eligible to receive a fall scholarship based on successful completion.
Students should apply as soon as possible, but no later than June 14.
