Northeast Lakeview College Hosts Hard Hat Ceremony for First Cohort of Construction Management Completers

Northeast Lakeview College (NLC) is excited to announce its first cohort of Construction Management students have completed coursework in the program and were recognized with a Hard Hat Ceremony.

The recognition is being held in conjunction with a Career Fair for all Construction Management students to meet with potential employers, learn about job opportunities, and work-related field experience.  A few of the students have already secured jobs in the field and will begin employment upon graduation.

“The U.S. Department of Labor indicates that Construction Management is expected to continue to have wide job growth through the next decade,” says Michael Anthony, Construction Management Program Coordinator at NLC. “NLC is excited to bring this training opportunity to the area, providing in-demand skills that lead to high value employment.’

NLC launched its Construction Management, A.A.S. in late 2023.  Since then, it has demonstrated a steady increase in students enrolled in the program.  Learn more about the program that is now enrolling for Fall 2026.
