Drop-ins

Tutors are available for both appointment and drop-in based tutoring. Drop-in tutoring is available on a first come, first serve basis. 

Appointments

Students whose home campus is San Antonio College can schedule and cancel their own tutoring appointments through Navigate. Students need to log into ACES first and then click on the AlamoNAVIGATE link.

Note: When scheduling your own appointment through AlamoNAVIGATE make sure to select either the "Tutoring" or "Writing Assistance" service.  Keep in mind that the "Tutoring" service is also being used by other Alamo Colleges campuses so make sure you select one of the Academic Success Centers locations (Academic Success Center, SMART Library Lab, Victory Center, Empowerment Center, INRW Lab) to schedule an appointment at San Antonio College.

Which service should you select?

Select the Tutoring service when you want to schedule an appointment with a tutor for help with specific course content assistance. This will get you scheduled with the appropriate tutor to help with the course content.

Select the Writing Assistance service when you want to schedule an appointment with a writing tutor to assist with a general writing assistance but do not specific course content assistance.

Make sure to always include the course for which you are seeking tutoring assistance to help the tutor prepare for the session.
