Fiesta at SAC

Fiesta® San Antonio is an annual 11-day Spring festival that serves as a massive cultural celebration, civic party, and multi-million dollar fundraiser for over 100 local non-profit organizations. Originally starting in 1891 to honor the heroes of the Alamo and Battle of San Jacinto, it is known as "A Party with a Purpose" and features parades, food, and massive community engagement.

Fredstock

Fredstock, an official Fiesta® San Antonio event now in its 17th year, is a free annual block party and music festival organized and co-presented by KSYM Radio and the students of the music business and radio, television, and film programs at San Antonio College. Rock your way down to the SAC campus to hear Rick Treviño, Grupo Ma$$oro, Street Lamp, The Pain Junkies, Barrio Blasters, and Ken Slavin fill the air with the distinct sounds of Fiesta. There will also be various vendors with food and concessions. All proceeds raised will go to support music business program scholarships.

Bring the kids out, grab a lawn chair, and enjoy family fun while contributing to education all at the same time. This live music event will be simulcast on KSYM, 90.1 FM. The event is named after music business program founder Fred Weiss. To RSVP for your free ticket or for more information, visit the Fredstock website.
