Holiday Card Competition

ELIGIBILITY AND PROCEDURE:

Design the “President’s Annual Holiday Card” for San Antonio College.
The competition is open to all currently enrolled students of San Antonio College.
A scholarship of $500 (for the 2025-26 academic year) will be awarded to the winning entry.
The scholarship recipient will be recognized at the President’s Holiday Luncheon on Friday, Dec. 5.
The scholarship recipient will receive design credit.
The Alamo Colleges District will retain exclusive reproduction rights to the card design.

THEME:

In honor of San Antonio College's centennial, this year's theme for the card competition is "Celebrating a Century of Service and Impact."

SPECIFICATIONS:

The digital card size is 1920 x 1080 px.
Entries may be created in any medium, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, or Canva.
Must provide a hi-resolution file with a minimum of 150 ppi in .jpg, animated .gif, or .mp4 format.
Animation is preferred.
Copyrighted music is not allowed.
One submission per student.
Must incorporate the current theme.
Must include the official SAC centennial logo, which can be found here.
Must also include the official SAC college logo, which can be found here.
Note: If you need a logo in vector file format, please email sac-marcomm@alamo.edu with a specific request.

DEADLINES:

Submit no later than 11:59 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, to sac-100@alamo.edu.
The winning entry will be notified by phone and email no later than Friday, Nov. 14.
Non-winning entries will be notified by email no later than Friday, Nov. 14.

Each entry must have:
- a completed submission form entry (link below).
- an attached file (or link to a file) in the specified formats.
