Welcome to the Health Sciences Camp 98.6

What to Expect

• Hands-on Activities & Simulations
  Students will explore real-world healthcare environments, from taking vitals and drawing blood to practicing suturing techniques and even intubating a patient simulator.

• Expert Instructors & Faculty
  St. Philip’s College health science faculty, staff, and industry professionals guide each workshop and demonstration. Learn alongside program directors and professionals who are dedicated to shaping tomorrow’s healthcare heroes.

• Career Exploration
  Whether you’re interested in becoming a nurse, respiratory therapist, physical therapy assistant, or working in a medical lab, you’ll discover the wide array of healthcare programs offered right here at St. Philip’s College.

• Team-Based Learning
  Students are placed in small groups, rotating through structured panels and hands-on sessions. This collaborative format helps everyone learn new skills, make friends, and gain confidence in a supportive environment.

Camp 98.6 At-a-Glance

• Dates: June 23–25, 2025 (Three Full Days)

• Times: Check-in at 8:45 a.m. | End at 3:00 p.m.

  • Parents are required to sign their child in/out each day

• Location: St. Philip’s College, Center for Health Professions Building

• Who Can Attend? High School Students (Ages 14–18)

• Cost: $30 per student

• Meals: Cold Lunch and snacks are provided each day; details will be shared upon registration.

What do you need to know?

• The costs for Camp 98.6 2025 are $30 per student
• Camp 98.6 does not hold a space for your students without application and payment. Payment will be made available once the application is received.
• An email request for reimbursement is required.
• If registering multiple students, please complete all registrations for one student at a time.
• Please fill out all forms completely and pay close attention to the student’s information: last name and first name.
• Do not use "same" or "on file" for any area on the form,
• Once spots are filled, the registration system will not accept additional registrations.
