St. Philip’s College has appointed Marsha Hall as Dean of Performance Excellence, effective June 1.

In this role, Marsha oversees the Office of Institutional Planning, Research, and Effectiveness, which manages institutional assessment, accreditation, and data-driven research.

“I’m incredibly honored and excited to step into the role of Dean of Performance Excellence,” Marsha said. “This meaningful opportunity represents the culmination of many transformative experiences I’ve had right here on campus.”

Marsha has served St. Philip’s College in multiple roles for nearly two decades, including Interim Dean for Performance Excellence, Director of Strategic Initiatives, Executive Assistant to the President, Adjunct Faculty Member, and Continuing Education Coordinator. She is currently a Doctor of Business Administration candidate at Cambridge College Global and holds a master’s degree in education from DeVry University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University.

Marsha has extensive experience in strategic planning, project management, and performance improvement. She has also played key roles in the college’s efforts to achieve Texas Award for Performance Excellence (TAPE) recognition and in accreditation projects with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

“I truly believe that the relationships, challenges, and successes I’ve encountered along the way have guided me to this role,” she said. “I’m ready to keep building, innovating, and celebrating alongside our amazing campus community.”
