SPC Names Adriael L. Simien-Falduto as Dean for Student Success, Educational Support Services

St. Philip’s College has appointed Adriael L. Simien-Falduto as Dean for Student Success, Educational Support Services, effective Feb. 25.
In her new role, Simien-Falduto will oversee Educational Support Services, including Student Advocacy, Student Conduct and Title IX, Career Readiness, Student Life, Student Accessibility Services, and First-Year Experience.
She brings more than 11 years of higher education experience, with expertise in student success initiatives, state reporting for enrollment management, administration of emergency aid, oversight of student advocacy grants, coordination of cultural awareness events, and development of preventative programs and training initiatives. She previously served as senior coordinator in the college’s Student Advocacy Center.
Simien-Falduto is pursuing a Ph.D. in organizational leadership with a focus on higher education administration and holds a master’s degree in administration from the University of the Incarnate Word.
“Every morning when I wake up, I tell myself to be the best version of myself and remind myself of the encouragement my dad gave me,” she said. “He would say I was born to stand out.”
