St. Philip’s College hosted its 13th annual Wellness Fair on March 25 at the William Allen Hudgins Health and Wellness Building, drawing more than 200 attendees and focusing on health, wellness and community engagement.

Held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event brought together students, faculty, staff and community members to explore resources and services that promote physical, mental and emotional well-being.

The fair featured 28 vendors representing health care providers, community organizations and campus programs. Participating groups included the Alamo Area Resource Center, the Allergy Institute of San Antonio, Apollo Wellness, CommuniCare, the City of San Antonio Training for Job Success Program and multiple San Antonio Metro Health District departments. Additional participants included the U.S. Army, Grifols Biomat, Primerica Financial Services and the Bexar County Community Health Collaborative.

Campus programs also played a key role, with representation from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program, the Respiratory Club, the Wellness Committee, the Kinesiology Program and dual-credit phlebotomy students.

Attendees had access to a range of health screenings and demonstrations, including blood pressure, blood sugar and balance screenings provided by students. Vendors and community partners also shared educational resources, tools and guidance designed to support healthier lifestyles.

“The 13th Annual Wellness Fair was a great success, drawing strong participation and community engagement. Building on a tradition established in 2011, the event continues to grow each year, highlighting the importance of health and wellness. The beautiful wellness building provides an ideal, welcoming space that supports the event and enhances the overall experience for all attendees,” said Daniel Williams, kinesiology assistant of the Fine Arts Program and Wellness Committee co-chair.
