Northeast Lakeview College prepares for future growth through various construction projects adding buildings and expanding the college’s footprint. Buildings to be funded through bond dollars will be listed under Capital Improvement Projects (CIP). Non-bond funded projects are listed under Other Construction Projects

Other Construction Projects

Nighthawk Legacy Center (Veterans Center) - completed

Funded through state appropriations, the Nighthawk Legacy Center is the college’s 11th building and a stand-alone building dedicated to providing services to active and retired military and their families will provide a “one-stop” location offering a convenient central place for them to have direct access to academic and non-academic services.

Northeast Lakeview College at New Braunfels

Northeast Lakeview College and the Alamo Colleges District purchased the building located at 2049 Sundance Pkwy (near FM 306 intersection) in New Braunfels, TX in January 2025. The building will undergo renovations to expand educational opportunities to residents in Comal and Guadalupe Counties. NLC will relocate from its current New Braunfels location at the Central Texas Technology Center (2193 FM758) once renovations are completed with an estimated timeline of January 2027.

Expanded Learning Opportunities

The 58,000 sq. ft. facility will accommodate more students and expand programs, services, and course offerings to include Information Technology (Networking and Cyber Defense), Electrical Technician, General Education Courses, Nursing A.A.S. and associated pre-requisites, expanded library and tutoring services, among others.
