Geography

The discipline of Geography at Northeast Lakeview College is a vibrant and diverse learning community that seeks to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the globalizing world. We offer courses in physical geography, human geography, geographic information systems (GIS), cartography, and other related topics. Our rigorous curriculum provides students with a comprehensive view of the world, its people, its landscapes, and its changing climate. Through our comprehensive course offerings, students gain an understanding of how humans interact with their environment and how these interactions shape the world we live in today. Our faculty also provide valuable mentorship to guide students through their journey toward becoming knowledgeable geographers who are prepared to make meaningful contributions in their chosen fields.
