Allan Mazurak
About Allan Mazurak
Allan is a faculty member in the Nursing program at Northeast Lakeview College. Prior to NLC, he taught Vocational Nursing and Respiratory Care at St. Philip’s College. He has over 15 years of healthcare experience, including roles as a Combat Medic, Licensed Vocational Nurse, and Respiratory Therapist in the U.S. Army. During his military career, he deployed to Afghanistan with a Forward Surgical Team.
Allan earned his BSN and MSN in Nursing Leadership from the University of the Incarnate Word and is currently pursuing his DNP at the University of Texas at Austin, where his scholarly project focuses on disaster preparedness education for nursing students. He enjoys mentoring students as they develop clinical judgment, resilience, and confidence in nursing practice.
Outside of work, Allan is passionate about health, exercise, and nutrition, and he enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children.
