High School Programs
Palo Alto College is committed to providing high-quality education to the community, including programs for high school students, including Dual Credit, Early College High Schools, TRiO Talent Search, and TRiO Upward Bound. Our collaborative programs provide high school students with access to higher education and prepares them for their transition to college and beyond.
Dual CreditThrough Palo Alto College's Dual Credit Program, eligible high school students can earn college credit for certain courses taken to meet their high school requirements.

College and Career Readiness School ModelsThe Texas College and Career Readiness School Models (CCRSM) are open enrollment programs that blend high school and college coursework. These programs help historically underserved and at-risk students develop technical skills, earn college credentials and degrees, and pursue in-demand career paths.

TRiO Talent SearchTRiO Talent Search is a grant program funded by the U.S. Department of Education aimed at increasing the number of students from disadvantaged backgrounds who complete high school, enroll in college, and earn a degree. Palo Alto College partners with Southwest High School (Southwest ISD) to provide 500 students annually with academic tutoring and advising, information on financial aid programs, assistance in completing financial aid applications, and college admissions support.

TRiO Upward BoundThe TRiO Upward Bound Pre-College Program prepares high school students to be college-ready by high school graduation. Upward Bound offers instruction throughout the academic year and during the summer, including tutoring, advising, and more.

TRiO Upward Bound Math-ScienceTRiO Upward Bound Math-Science is a grant program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Palo Alto College partners with East Central High School to provide 60 students each year with academic tutoring and advising, information on financial aid programs, assistance in completing financial aid applications, and college admissions support.
