San Antonio College Presents
The musical Cabaret is set in Berlin, Germany in the late 1920s during the decline of the Weimar Republic, and as the National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazis) began to come to power. This is the backdrop for references to sexuality, drug use, violence, and other thematic elements, including abortion and historically contextualized images of hate.
