Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is EnRoll-A-Palooza?

EnRoll-A-Palooza is a one-stop enrollment event designed to help you complete your enrollment journey in one visit. Representatives from Admissions, Records, Financial Aid, Advising, Testing, Student Business Office, and other student support departments will be available to guide you from application through class registration.

What time should I arrive?

EnRoll-A-Palooza is an open enrollment event from 1 - 6 p.m. You may arrive at any time during those hours.

We recommend planning your visit accordingly, as the amount of time you'll spend at the event depends on where you are in the enrollment process. Students who have already completed several enrollment steps may finish quickly, while students just getting started may need additional time to complete all required requirements.

What should I bring?

To make the most of your visit, bring any documents that may be required for enrollment, including:

  • Official or unofficial transcripts (if applicable)
  • TSI assessment scores (if available)
  • Bacterial Meningitis vaccination documentation (if required)
  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Residency or immigration documentation (if requested)
  • Financial Aid information or requested verification documents
  • Any paperwork you've received from the college regarding your enrollment

Please note: Certain enrollment requirements—such as required transcripts or vaccination records—cannot be bypassed. If required documentation is missing, it may delay or prevent same-day registration.

Can I bring family or guests?

Yes. While guests are welcome, we recommend that students complete the enrollment process independently whenever possible.

A designated waiting area will be available for family members and friends while students meet with enrollment staff and complete their required steps.

How long will the enrollment process take?

Every student's enrollment journey is different. Some students may finish in less than an hour, while others may spend several hours completing admissions, testing, advising, financial aid, and registration.

Plan to stay as long as needed to complete your enrollment requirements.

Do I need to register for the event?

No appointment is necessary, but we recommend you RSVP as we screen our attendees and distribute fast passes accordingly. If the RSVP link is full, you are still welcome to attend on the day of the event.

Can I register for classes at the event?

Yes! Our goal is to help eligible students complete the enrollment process and register for classes before they leave.

Registration depends on completing all required enrollment steps and submitting any required documentation.

What items will prevent me from being able to register for classes?

Some enrollment requirements are mandatory and cannot be waived or bypassed. Missing required documentation may prevent you from registering for classes during EnRoll-A-Palooza.

Be sure to bring any documents that apply to you, including:

  • Official or unofficial high school and/or college transcripts (if applicable)
  • Bacterial Meningitis vaccination documentation (required for students under Texas law unless an exemption applies)
  • TSI Assessment scores (if you have completed the assessment at another institution)
  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Residency or immigration documentation (if requested to determine your tuition classification)
  • Financial Aid verification documents (if requested by the Financial Aid Office)

If you're unsure whether you're missing a required document, we encourage you to attend anyway. Our enrollment specialists will review your account, explain any outstanding requirements, and help you understand the next steps needed to complete your enrollment.

What if I haven't applied to the college yet?

No problem! Staff will help you complete your application and guide you through each remaining enrollment step.

What if I'm not sure what program I want to study?

That's okay! Enrollment professionals will be available to discuss your educational and career goals and connect you with the appropriate advising resources to help you choose a program.

Will Financial Aid be available?

Yes. Financial Aid representatives will be available to answer questions, assist with your FAFSA or TASFA, review missing requirements, and help you understand your next steps.

What if I have holds on my account?

Our staff will review your account and help determine what holds can be resolved during the event. Some holds may require additional documentation or action before registration can occur.

Will there be food or refreshments?

Light refreshments may be available while supplies last.

What if I can't finish everything during the event?

If you're unable to complete every enrollment step before the event ends, our staff will provide clear next steps and connect you with the appropriate office so you can continue your enrollment process.
