Remote testing allows SPC students to take the TSI Assessment at an institution close to their homes. Remote Testing is available for all students who are located outside of the San Antonio area and cannot take the TSI Assessment on the SPC or SPC–SWC campus.

Remote Testing process:

  • Requests must be received at least 10 business days prior to the preferred test date.
  • Students are responsible for all remote related proctoring fees.

Request a Remote Testing Voucher by emailing spc-testcenter@alamo.edu and notify us of the test center location you will be testing at.

The student will purchase the exam through the virtual business office and will email receipt to spc-testcenter@alamo.edu.

A remote voucher is sent via email from Accuplacer to the remote institution and the student.

Upon receiving the remote voucher, the student makes an appointment with the remote institution and pays any proctoring fees associated with their testing*

The student brings a copy of the voucher with them to take the exam.

Student takes the exam and upon completion, the TSI results are inputted into the SPC system by the TSI office within 48 hours.
