What is 1898 at St. Philip's College?
1898 is a student-operated restaurant housed in the Tourism, Hospitality and Culinary Arts (THCA) building on the St. Philip's College campus. The goal of 1898 is to teach the students the fundamentals of food preparation and of service, allowing students to collaborate, coordinate, and serve meals of various styles and cuisines. We are located on the first floor of the new Tourism, Hospitality and Culinary Arts (THCA) building come see what our students are preparing!

Reservations & Guidelines
Individuals arriving 20 minutes or after will be considered late and their reservation will be forfeited due to time restraints in the classroom environment.
Reservations can only be used for that specific meal. They cannot be honored on any other day.
The lunch price is $15.00 per person, which includes the meal and limited beverages. However, the pricing for Friday service may vary due to market prices.
Payment may be made with CREDIT CARDS or DEBIT CARD ONLY. Meals may also now be purchased in advance with a no refund policy for no shows.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, seat availability and menu may change with little or no notice.
