St. Philip's College students enrolled in Construction programs are learning skills to prepare for the exciting opportunities within the building industry. NAHB’s Student Chapter program members are dedicated to enriching students’ educational experiences, and conduct hands-on experience to the real world of the building industry through membership, educational programming, local volunteer community services and building industry networking opportunities. Members learn skills in construction, electrical, welding, plumbing, and more.

The NAHB Student Chapter also has the opportunity to participate yearly in the NAHB Student Competition. This competition is a real-world construction management and planning contest for our college students. This national competition supports two and four-year college/university levels. The competition is an experience shared at the International Builders’ Show.
