Do you or someone you know someone can make the tastiest ribs? Show us your skills as we award the best ribs in town.

Competition Entry fees:

  • $20 to submit for either beef or pork ribs
  • $30 to submit for both beef and pork ribs

Contestants must submit a slab of ribs for the judges. If you are submitting for both beef and pork rib competition, you must submit a slab of each beef and pork ribs. Contact John Martin to sign up.

CultureFest Medal & Shirts

2020 CultureFest medals will be available on the day of the event! Medals will be given at first-come, first-serve!

CultureFest t-shirts are given to volunteers working at the event! We need student and faculty/staff volunteers for CultureFest. There are numerous opportunities to serve, including setting up the day before the event.

We will have all sorts of food and non-food vendors for you to choose from at CultureFest. Don't forget to try one of the delicious foods that will be served from Gorditas, Funnel Cake, Mangonadas, and much more. See a full list below.

Please note that vendors are required to attend a mandatory vendor meeting on Wednesday, April 4, from 6:00 PM -7:00 PM A make-up meeting will be held on Saturday, April 4, at 10:00 AM in the Turbon Student Center. Check-in at the front desk. Please send an email to Rose Kyle-Bankston at to let us know which session you plan to attend.

Get Your Tickets Early!

We are selling tickets for Food Vendors online for your convenience. Get your tickets early to beat the lines! Please bring a print out of your receipt (or show on your smartphone) the day of the event at the ticket booth to retrieve their tickets.
