What is the Kinesiology program?

An Associate of Arts in Kinesiology helps prepare students to transfer to a university and major in Exercise Science, Physical Education, or Pre-Physical Therapy.

What will I learn?

Our majors are prepared for careers in a variety of areas: teaching and coaching, athletic training, personal training, recreation specialist, physical and occupational therapy and a host of other health professions.

What can I do with this course of study?

Begin a career in teaching and coaching, athletic training, personal training, recreation specialist, physical and occupational therapy and a host of other health professions.

What's special about program?

We also offer various activity classes that focus on individual and group fitness and sports to help improve their physical skills, overall health and wellness, and enrich their health-related knowledge. We offer general activity classes for all students who want to improve/maintain fitness and/or learn new skills.

The Health and Fitness Center offers different equipment available to students registered for KINE classes and during open gym hours.
