Meningitis Vaccine

Submit proof of bacterial meningitis vaccination during the five-year period prior to enrollment.

Upload documents in ACES Bacterial Meningitis card. Applicable only to students under the age of 22. Exemptions or waivers may apply.

TSI Assessment

Complete the Texas Success Initiative assessment (TSIA2) for proficiency in English and Math.

New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation (NSO) is a mandatory requirement that ensures students are aware of campus resources, student support services, campus safety, and the different ways they can engage on campus.

SAC NSO is required for:
First-time college students and transfer students with less than 7 credit hours.

Advising & Registration

Meet with an Academic Advisor and register for classes.

First-time college students and transfer students with less than 7 credit hours will attend a Group Advising session after New Student Orientation (NSO).

Transfer students with 7 credit hours or more, returning Alamo Colleges District students, and transient students can attend "Drop-In Advising" sessions or schedule an appointment with their assigned Academic Advisor.

Student I.D. Requirements

• Student must be registered for classes in current semester
• SAC must be student's home college
• Student must present valid photo identification
  (State I.D., Driver's License, Passport, etc.)
• Student must have a zero balance on semester tuition & fees
  or be enrolled in a payment plan
  
  

Fees
- No fee will be charged for issuance of first Student ID card
- A $10 fee is charged for a replacement Student ID card
