Early College High School /Pathways in Technology Early College High School
ECHS: Early College High Schools (ECHS) are open-enrollment programs that allow students least likely to attend college or who wish to accelerate completion of high school, to combine high school courses and college-level courses while participating in rigorous and accelerated instruction. ECHS students earn a high school diploma in addition to up to 60 college credit hours or an associate degree.

P-TECH: Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) are open-enrollment programs that allow students least likely to attend college or who wish to accelerate completion of high school, to combine high school courses and college-level courses while participating in rigorous and accelerated instruction. P-TECH also offers students the opportunity to engage in work-based learning at every grade level. P-TECH students earn a high school diploma in addition to industry-based certifications, Level 1 or 2 certificates, and/or an associate degree while engaging in work-based learning at every grade level.

Early College High School Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Northeast Lakeview College High School Programs staff to establish Dual Credit Information Sessions.
- Organize dates for completion of the Alamo College High School Programs Dual Credit Application
- Inform prospective dual credit students about completing the TSI Placement Exam (writing, essay, reading, and math) and qualifying scores.
- TSI testing requirements may differ by Independent School District (ISD). Each high school is responsible for verifying and communicating its specific TSI standards and procedures to students.
- Complete and submit the required forms to Northeast Lakeview College High School Programs office:
- Early College High School Student/Parent Consent Form
- Verification of Eligibility
- Dual Credit Student Recommendation List with the following:
- Eligible Student Information
- Recommended Course(s)
All enrollment documents must be submitted by the deadline noted on the Admissions and Enrollment Calendar to ensure timely registration. Student registration is processed by College personnel.
