Academic Coaching

College not quite what you expected? Running into bumps and snags?

To meet with an Academic Coach, set an appointment in Navigate Mon-Thurs between 10 am and 3 pm.  Appointments are one hour long. You may book as many appointments as you like, but we recommend no more than once a week.

Academic Coaching focuses primarily on academics – managing classes and improving grades. For help with other concerns, see:

Nighthawk’s Nest Advocacy Center for Counseling, Food Pantry, Emergency Aid, and/or Disability Support in Brazos Student Union, Room 210

Academic Advising for Course information and registration, academic standing, program requirements, and transfer advice in Brazos Student Union

Faculty-Student Mentoring for encouragement, support, and guidance toward either transferring to a university or entering employment

Any questions, contact Tara Daugherty at tdaugherty@alamo.edu or 210-486-5359
