Accreditation
Palo Alto College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate level degrees. As required by the U.S. Department of Education, Palo Alto College submitted a Fifth-Year Interim Report in September 2017 as part of the 10-year accreditation status from SACSCOC.

The Palo Alto Veterinary Technology Program received initial accreditation in 1998 and has maintain full accredited from the American Veterinary Medical Association Committee on Veterinary Education and Activities.
The Ray Ellison Family Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Palo Alto College’s academic programs are approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
