Test Scheduling Blocks
Tests may be scheduled at the following times during hours of operation:
- 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 3 p.m., based upon seat availability. Due to limited space, date flexibility may be required.
Kurzweil
To access Kurzweil Reader:
1. Navigate to the Alamo Colleges’ unique Kurzweil 3000 URL (bookmark this link for easy access):

2. You will be redirected to the Alamo Colleges login page.
3. Log in using your ACES credentials.
**Accessing Read the Web (example attached above):**
1. Log in to the Kurzweil 3000 tool using the steps above in the Chrome browser that has the Read the Web extension installed. You can install the Read the Web extension using the following links:
- **Kurzweil 3000 Chrome Read the Web (3.2.6)**
(After installation, be sure to pin the 'Read the Web' extension to the top right toolbar using the extension tool located in the upper right corner of the page.)
2. Click the 'Enable Read the Web' button located at the bottom left corner of the Kurzweil 3000 interface (library). This will log you into your Read the Web extension for the duration of your browser session. If the Kurzweil icon remains grey after enabling, simply click it to reopen it. However, remember that you must first click 'Enable Read the Web' from the Kurzweil library for it to activate.

Submit a request for accommodations
The testing facilitator will contact the student for an intake review.
Student Exam Testing
The student meets with the instructor and tells them that they would like to take a test at Testing and Assessment.
- The student needs to tell the instructor at least two weeks in advance before testing.
- The instructor submits the test and instructions through Register Blast at least five days before the test.
- The student will receive an email notifying them to schedule a time and date for testing.
- Fall 24 Final Exams will be proctored at MLC Room 209
