Our program helps people with disabilities get ready for, find, or keep a job. We help adults with disabilities of all ages. We also help young students with disabilities prepare for life after school. The program also assists businesses in hiring and supporting employees with disabilities. |
The Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) supports individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) or related conditions, living in Bexar County, to improve their quality of life and to ensure that they can actively participate as valued members of our community. |

Students can register for the full academic year – fall, spring, and summer – or for single semesters once registration opens in April. |
Through a partnership with VIA Metropolitan Transit, all Alamo Colleges District students and employees are eligible for a free VIA U-PASS by signing up with their student or employee email address. The pass gives you access to unlimited rides on VIA bus or Link service throughout the semester. With free high-speed Wi-Fi on all buses and transit centers, you can spend more time reading, studying, checking emails and staying connected. Fall U-PASS: Valid Aug. 1–Jan. 31

Prioritizing health and well-being is key to a successful and fulfilling college experience. Affordable health care is available for Alamo Colleges District students through a partnership between the Alamo Colleges District and UT Health San Antonio’s Wellness 360 program. |
Through the generous support of donors, the Alamo Colleges Foundation offers a wide variety of scholarships. Alamo Colleges students submit one general scholarship application each academic year, and they are automatically considered for all Alamo Colleges Foundation scholarships and matched with eligible award opportunities. |
The Student Advocacy Center Helpline is (210) 486-1111. Since fall 2016, the Student Advocacy Center serves, students, faculty, and staff with a variety of programs and services to help them succeed. The Student Advocacy Center is driven by our own SAC work-study students, as well as Social Work, Counseling, and Public Health interns, from colleges across San Antonio, providing a collaborative approach to our client's needs. Grab-and-go snacks/drinks are available to students at the center daily. |
