Gabby Rivera is a queer Latinx writer who gained national acclaim for her debut young adult novel Juliet Takes a Breath. She has also written stories for independent comic books, including The Secret Love of Geeks and LumberJanes. She contributed to  Ricanstruction: Reminiscing & Rebuilding Puerto Rico, an anthology created to raise money for Puerto Rican relief following the devastation by Hurricane Maria.
