The Aspen Institute College Excellence Program announced that Alamo Colleges District-San Antonio College is one of 10 finalists for the 2021 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the nation’s signature recognition of high achievement and performance among community colleges.

SHINE WITH SAC Scholarship Competition

In celebration of SAC's Top 10 honor from The Aspen Institute's College Excellence Program, we held a scholarship competition for eligible incoming and enrolled students. Over 100 students submitted a brief essay expressing what they love about SAC and how the community college will help their future shine. On Friday, June 26, 2020, ten (10) $250 scholarships were awarded to ten students. SAC has received this prestigious recognition because of the people that bring light into the community and make the world a brighter place.
