San Antonio College names Moreno Director of Student Success – Veterans Affairs

San Antonio College has named RoseMarie Moreno Director of Student Success – Veterans Affairs. She had served as interim director since May 2025.

As director, Moreno will lead services and programming for SAC students and staff who are veterans, service members, or their dependents. Additionally, she will work with college leadership, veterans and service members, certified advisors, and staff to develop strategies and initiatives to support the college’s military-connected students in reaching their educational and professional goals.

Moreno joined SAC in February 2018 as Veterans Affairs Advising Team Lead.

Before joining SAC, Moreno served as a program specialist with the Texas State Approving Agency, working under contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In that role, she reviewed school catalogs and educational programs for approval to use GI Bill benefits.

Her previous experience also includes serving as assistant director of admissions for The Art Institute of San Antonio and as the primary school certifying official for Stratford University’s eight campuses across Northern Virginia and Maryland.

Moreno earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management and a master’s degree in educational administration from Angelo State University.
