October 2, 2026
More than 500 guests gathered at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, Sept. 24, to celebrate San Antonio College’s 100-year legacy of education, opportunity, and community impact.
The SAC Centennial Gala brought together alumni, employees, community leaders, supporters, and friends of the college to reflect on SAC’s history, recognize the generations of students who have shaped its legacy and look ahead to the next century.
Throughout the celebration, guests reflected on the college’s role in expanding access to higher education and creating opportunities for San Antonio families.
As SAC President Dr. Francisco Solis emphasized during the evening, talent resides in every ZIP code across the city. The celebration reinforced SAC’s continued commitment to opening doors for future generations of students.
The gala was a milestone in SAC’s yearlong centennial celebration, honoring a century of service and impact while recognizing the community that has made its success possible.
