Sept. 20, 2025 — San Antonio College kicks off centennial festivities with Founders Day celebration
San Antonio College hosted its Founders Day Celebration on Saturday, marking the official start of SAC 100, the college's yearlong centennial festivities. The family-friendly event featured carnival rides, games, rock-climbing, live music, food, drinks, and more. A special nighttime fireworks display concluded the event.

The college on Saturday will launch its yearlong centennial series of events and storytelling with a Founders Day Celebration, open to the community, from 6 to 10 p.m. by the seven-story Moody Learning Center.

April 18, 2025 — San Antonio College marks 100 years serving local students
Sonny Melendrez enrolled at San Antonio College as part of the college’s inaugural class of radio and television students in 1964. Peering into a small window at what is now the McAllister Auditorium excited Melendrez, who saw equipment that would allow SAC to become Texas’ first community college to operate a radio station, KSYM, two years later.

- The SAC centennial logo is a graphic file of the College's name. It should be used on all print and electronic materials sent within the College and to the public.
- Please use only the logos provided below. The SAC logo should never be taken from another web page for use on a print document. The resolution will not be the quality required for a printed document.
- If you need a vector file format, please email us at sac-marcomm@alamo.edu.
The SAC centennial logo may not be distorted or combined with other elements, so please follow the simple steps listed below:
- Once you download the desired logo, right click on image and select "save picture as" and save it on your computer.
- When placing and/or resizing your logo on a document, please hold down the "Shift" key to maintain the logos proportion.
