Fall 2024 Presidential Scholars

Jay Barkley

Jay Barkley is an Honor Student, currently working towards a degree in Science. He is in the Blue Blazer Society, Collegiate 100, and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Jay is a Team Supervisor for Wawa, Inc. and volunteering at the Christa Santa Rosa Special Olympics – assisting in event set-up for families.

Chinna Plain

Chinna Plain is an Honor Student, currently working towards a degree in Kinesiology. She is actively involved in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and is self employed. Additionally, Chinna volunteers at the Schertz Library – assist with children’s activities, maintain classroom shelves and assist with computer class.

Angelica Juarez

Angelica Juarez is an Honor Student, currently working towards a degree in Nursing. She is actively involved in Student Government Association and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and serves as a Peer Mentor for Student Life. Additionally, Angelica volunteers with Hospice – facilitate and lead art activities, and story time for patients.

Nicholas Wells

Nicholas Wells is an honor student, currently majoring in Cybersecurity. He is actively involved in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Cyber Tigers. Additionally, Nicholas is interning at Red Knight, and volunteers at the San Antonio Food Bank – packaging food to distribute to individuals who are struggling financially.
