Scobee Education Center Announcements

"Launch Into Learning" for the 2026-27 School Year!

While everyone is enjoying the summer months in central Texas, our STEAM community is eagerly planning for the new school year!

The Scobee Education Center and The Boeing Company are sponsoring the welcome back event for classroom teachers and school administrators to be held at Scobee on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 6-9:00 p.m.  This event is open to public, charter, & private schools educators and is designed for professional networking opportunities.  This is not a family night at the center and children are discouraged from attending.

During this evening, we will draw from the pre-registered educators who are present for Sun Spotters, a Bambu Labs 3D printer, an 8" DObsonian Telescope, tickets to the area's STEAM venues, and a variety of classroom resources and trips, but you must be preregistered and present to win!

Registration is open through 10:00 a.m. on August 14th. Please, register only once as duplicate registrations will be filtered prior to the event.

Registration for 2026-27 SEC School Programs

The Scobee Education Center is open to schools' registration for the approaching 2026-2027 school year.  Teachers wishing to secure dates and times for their classes 'must' have the school administrator's approval before securing their registration to avoid costly cancellations due to transportation of personnel constraints faced by our area's ISD's.

Please, contact sac-ScobeeCtr@alamo.edu for the registration form or online link to register.  You may call our main line (210-486-0100) to discuss options for programming; however, no dates and times are scheduled until the approved regisitration forms is on file and a program verification has been received.
