About Jennifer Marks

Jennifer Davis Marks is a Professor of Speech Communication at Northeast Lakeview College, where she has been a faculty member since 2006.  She is ABD from Pennsylvania State University in Communication Arts & Sciences and has a Master of Arts in Speech Communication & Consulting from Oklahoma State University.  Her first degrees were a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Psychology also from Oklahoma State University, where she played on the first Division I/Varsity soccer team there.  

She teaches Business & Professional Communication (SPCH 1321) primarily but has taught 1311, 1315, and 1318 as well.  (She currently teaches those classes online.)  Her teaching interests include, but are not limited to, the practicalities of how to get a job and establishing relationships in the workplace.  Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading and watching movies.  She has a husband, a 16-year-old daughter, and 2 dogs.
