Bio:
I understand the challenges of balancing school, a job, and a family. I became a mom at 18 when I was a freshman in college. I am currently happily married with an adopted son and a husband who is in treatment for Stage IV cancer. I am passionate about the value of education past high school and working toward your goals - no matter how long it takes. I understand the importance of having a strong support system, people to help you over the bumps in the road, and someone to share your victories with. I entered college a music major, and I still enjoy playing the guitar and piano, singing and performing when I can. I am a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville where I live, and I my current guitar/singing gig is leading the choir at noon mass every Sunday. :) I am a lifelong learner, and I also enjoy reading, quilting, and spending time with my family and my circle of friends.
