The health and wellness of students, faculty and staff at Northwest Vista College is the highest priority.
Northwest Vista College will remain at Level 5 operations through the Spring 2021 semester. Level 5 means stay safe and learn/work from home. All courses and services will be conducted remotely. We continue to monitor local conditions and will communicate updates to the Northwest Vista College community through a variety of mediums.
In response to Governor Greg Abbott's executive order that lifts the state’s mandate on wearing face coverings to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Northwest Vista College, along with sister colleges within the Alamo College District, will continue to observe its health and safety protocols already in place. These include the requirement to wear face coverings at all their locations. The Alamo Colleges will continue to prioritize the health and safety of its students and employees above all else and follow the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the City and County.
Current Students
The Northwest Vista College community wants you to succeed as a student. Vista employees, students and alumni are ready to help you achieve your goals, whether you want to take one class for professional development, complete a degree or certificate or enjoy an enrichment class like cooking or yoga. There are many benefits that come from your enrollment. You can exercise at the fitness center at a reduced rate, visit several San Antonio museums free of charge and study or relax at the Cyber Café by the lake.
While you’re here, we encourage you to experience college beyond the classroom. Student Life can be so much more fun if you join a club or an organization, participate in recreation sports or take on student leadership opportunities. We hope you enjoy being part of Vista!
