The 2026 Juried Student Art Exhibition will be hosted on the Northwest Vista College Campus in the Palmetto Center for the Arts Gallery. Continuing our tradition of recognizing outstanding student talent, we are proud to offer three Purchase Awards, where selected student artworks will become part of the Northwest Vista College Student Art Collection. All NVC students are encouraged to apply!

The following awards will be presented:

  • President’s Office Purchase Prize: $500
  • Staff Senate Purchase Prize: $300
  • Faculty Senate Purchase Prize: $300

Artwork submitted to the show must be ready to hang and/or display for exhibition. Canvases must have wire installed on the back and works on paper must be framed with wire or D-rings. Artwork submitted to the show needs to reflect students’ time at NVC and therefore must be created while the student is/was actively enrolled.

Deadline: All submissions must be received by March 29, 2026.

Selection Notification: April 10, 2026.

Artwork Delivery: April 27 - May 1, 2026.

Exhibition Dates: May 25 - August 28, 2026.

Additional Guidelines:

Only one entry per submission is allowed. Students may submit up to 5 entries into the show, but each entry must have its own form.

Art should be submitted as JPG or PDF files and no larger than 4 MB. Again, all submitted artwork must have been created while enrolled in a class at Northwest Vista College. Artworks submitted can be from a class assignment or personal project.

AI-generated artwork will not be accepted. Additionally, students are expected to submit artwork that they created; if found to submit fraudulent artwork the student’s artwork will be removed from the show, and they will be unable to submit again.
