What is this department?

KSYM is a student operated radio station licensed to San Antonio College. We broadcast on 90.1 FM to the San Antonio metropolitan area and online to the world at the KSYM website.  KSYM prides itself on being an alternative experience to commercial radio.  

What will I learn?

Participation in the radio station offers real world experience in radio station management, promotion, sales, public service, on-air talent, music and dj scheduling. On-air shifts are available to students and community members who have completed courses in Communications and Radio Television Broadcasting degree programs.

What's special about program?

KSYM is Texas' oldest community college radio station.
