Step into the future of learning at San Antonio College’s VR Studio, located inside the Mega Lab (MLC 502). This state-of-the-art, multi-disciplinary space offers cutting-edge VR headsets and immersive technologies that transform education across all fields—from walking through ancient cities to simulating science labs or real-world scenarios.
Currently operating under a pilot program, access is limited to approved courses, and only faculty members are permitted to schedule studio time. The VR Studio supports experiential learning, innovation, and exploration by providing access to the latest VR equipment and software for instruction and creative projects.

Pilot Program
The SAC VR Studio is currently in a pilot phase, designed to explore how immersive technology can enhance instruction. During this phase, access is limited to select Nursing Department courses that have been approved for VR integration.
Participation is by invitation only, and all sessions must be scheduled in advance. The pilot will help us evaluate educational impact, refine best practices, and guide future expansion to other academic areas.

- The VR Studio is not open for general student use
- Only authorized faculty may reserve and supervise class sessions in the space.
