San Antonio College students now have access to a new Cyber Hygiene Training course designed to build practical skills for staying safe online. The training is delivered through Canvas and is available upon request through the SAC IT Security Hub to actively enrolled San Antonio College students.

Students will learn how to:

  • Recognize common cyber threats
  • Apply safer password and authentication practices
  • Detect phishing and social engineering attempts
  • Practice safe network and public Wi-Fi usage
  • Respond appropriately to potential security incidents

The training will help our students to protect their accounts and personal information, make safer decisions online, and build cybersecurity awareness skills that support both academic success and future careers.  Stay aware. Stay secure. Practice good cyber hygiene.
