Eileen Collins Book Signing

The Scobee Education Center, along with Texas Public Radio, will host former astronaut Col. Eileen Collins (ret.) for a presentation and book signing based on her new memoir Through the Glass Ceiling to the Stars at 7 p.m. Friday, March 11, at the Scobee Center. Collins is an aviation pioneer, a former test pilot who was the first woman to pilot a Space Shuttle. She was also the first woman commander of a NASA Space Shuttle mission.

Purchase a copy of Collins' book in advance through the Alamo Colleges Marketplace for $25. Books will be available to pick up at the event.
