Program Information
- Must have permission from the high school and parent/guardian
- Must complete Application - Apply Here
- Must meet placement test score requirements
- Dual Credit also requires Home school notarized high school transcript.
Homeschool:

Beginning Fall 2026, Texas Education Code §51.9675 and TAC §4.85 require homeschool students to be at least 16 years of age at the start of a dual credit course to enroll. Students must also meet all other dual credit eligibility requirements.

- Alamo ENROLL:
- Complete the Test Prep module for Dual Credit (*Note: must complete before taking the TSI Assessment).
- St. Philip's College Dual Credit Student/Parent Consent Form (SPC Form English) (SPC Form Spanish)
- Note: Homeschool students must submit a notarized high school transcript and must be 16 years of age by the first day of the semester of enrollment.
- Test Scores (ACT, SAT, TSIA 2.0)
- *New students must complete High School Programs New Student Orientation.
- Submit scores, forms, and transcripts to the Dual Credit Office. Failure to do so will delay registration by the High School Program's staff.
The High School Program's staff must enroll all students in any college courses.
Testing Information:
The Testing Center is located in the Welcome Enrollment Center (WEC) building in Room 207B. For additional testing information, please contact the Testing Center at 210-486-2444.
- Student must have a banner student ID number.
- Student must have two forms of valid ID, one of which is a photo ID.
- Student must complete the Apply Here (Application Steps) application to one of the Alamo Colleges.
- Student must complete Test Prep module
