English and Education
Effective communication is at the heart of personal achievement in real-world situations. The English and Education Department assists students in honing their skills in the areas of writing and reading critically. English classes also offer courses in literature in order to help students develop a broader understanding of themselves, their environment, and their cultural background. Integrated Reading and Writing (INRW) classes prepare students for college-level coursework. These activities are accomplished through a two-level developmental writing program and a four-level reading program.
We invite you to take some time to explore the English and Education Division website to get a sense of who we are and what we do.
