Graduation Speaker Application

As part of the commencement ceremony, a graduating Northeast Lakeview College student will have the privilege of representing the student body by delivering a parting message to the Class of 2026.

Deadline to submit Commencement Speaker Application: March 15, 2026.

If chosen to be the Student Speaker, I agree to uphold and represent the Core Values of NLC to my peers, family, and friends during the 2026 Commencement Ceremony.

Timeline for student speaker:

March 15 - Application Due
March 16-20 - Applications Reviewed
March 23-27 - Interviews Scheduled

Students will be notified on or before March 31, 2026, if they were selected as the Commencement Speaker.

A committee comprised of faculty and staff at Northeast Lakeview College reviews the applications, conducts student interviews, and makes the final selection.
