DVCP Advisory Board
Help us help you build the future workforce of the San Antonio film and media industry
What is the DVCP Advisory Board?
The Advisory Board for Digital Video & Cinema Production is one of the principal means by which we ensure meaningful business and industry participation in our program’s curriculum. Our board includes filmmakers, educators, industry and workforce leaders, producers, agency reps, and other media professionals. They offer input on:
- our program’s goals and objectives
- workplace competencies needed for students
- program revisions and improvements
- industry-standard facilities and equipment;
- potential jobs and internship opportunities for students
- professional development of the faculty;
- promoting the program to the community and industry
The time and input of board members comes back to help them — indeed, it helps the entire San Antonio film/media industry — as we are better able to prepare our graduates with the skills and knowledge needed in the local media landscape, and to become future film professionals.
How can I get involved?
