I've been a student at Northwest Vista since 2024. I can't believe I started as a scared freshman and now, I'm leaving with so much confidence knowing that I will be pursuing my dream to study neuroscience.

I’m an AlamoPROMISE student and the first in my family to graduate from college. I’ll be transferring to UT San Antonio to continue my education and earn a degree in neuroscience.

I decided to attend Northwest Vista College because I’m the youngest in my whole family, and when I applied to college, my mom was diagnosed with cancer, so I decided to stay closer to home.

When I was a baby, I was diagnosed with epilepsy, and even having what I have, my dream has always been to graduate college with a degree of my choosing.

Being a Wildcat will always hold a place in my heart. Thank you to Northwest Vista College for helping me continue on my path to pursue a career of being a neurosurgeon. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me.
