Associate of Science

I am a Clark High School senior graduating on May 29. I will graduate from Vista with my associate degree before my high school diploma, with the class of 2026. I am the only one from my grade cohort at Clark to graduate with this honor. I am graduating from Vista with the Summa cum Laude distinction, and as a member of PTK. I am 18 years old and will join UTSA as a junior in the fall with a major in biomedical engineering.

I chose biomedical engineering because I want to help people through science and innovation. Dual credit at Clark High School played a major role in helping me work toward this goal. While Clark did not offer a direct biomedical engineering pathway, I took additional classes outside of school to stay on track. Earning college credit while in high school has strengthened my academic foundation, challenged me to be independent, and brought me closer to my future career goals.
