I am Jordan Polasek, a current Northwest Vista College student pursuing my Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cloud Computing. I plan to graduate this year, and I am currently maintaining a 4.0 GPA while working hard to finish the program strong.

My experience at NVC has been meaningful because it has connected what I am learning in the classroom directly to the work I do in the field. I previously studied computer science, but as more businesses move toward cloud infrastructure, data centers, cybersecurity, and modern network architecture, I wanted to continue building skills that match where technology is going. What stood out to me about Northwest Vista College was the opportunity to pursue a deep, practical cloud computing degree at an affordable rate. That accessibility made a real difference for me. The program has helped me grow as a student, a business owner, and a technology professional.

Since starting at NVC, I have continued developing my business, BVTech LLC, and have been able to contribute to real-world technology projects, including commercial buildouts in San Antonio. I have also had the opportunity to work with and train fellow students, helping them gain hands-on experience in IT, cloud technology, networking, and cybersecurity.

The education I have received at NVC has already made a positive impact on my career. Many of my professors have gone above and beyond to share knowledge, practical insight, and encouragement. Their support has helped me not only succeed academically but also apply what I am learning to better serve clients through my business.

Northwest Vista College has helped me sharpen my technical skills, strengthen my confidence, and continue building a career around cloud computing and technology services for small businesses. I am proud to be part of NVC and grateful for the opportunity this program has given me.
