After serving in the US Army, I decided to go back to school and further my education as a first gen student. I was quickly connected with All Ranks/ SALUTE where I met some of the best faculty mentors that always encouraged me to strive for greatness as well as expanding on my leadership abilities by becoming the president of All Ranks/Salute.

I also joined the NVC Cheerleading team where I met some of the closest friends as well as becoming ingrained and involved with not only campus events but the student life as well. I am forever grateful for the opportunities that NVC provided especially now as I transfer to The University of the Incarnate Word in the fall.
